The hostel was established in December 2014. It’s highly rated on Hostelworld with a rating of 9.5 and it has over 1,500 reviews. It has also been rated by Hostelworld as one of the best hostels in Thailand.
The hostel is located on a beach 2km south of Lamai on Koh Samui. Lamai has many restaurants, sports bars, shops and convenience stores. This hostel is 20 minutes drive to Chaweng which is the main party area on the island. The hostel can accommodate over 50 people in the bar-restaurant area all with a beautiful sea view.
The hostel has 7 dorm rooms with 38 beds in total. Each room has air-conditioned and there are 7 showers and 7 toilets for our guests. The business comes with a tour license, alcohol license and kitchen license. It is a THB 4,000,000 Thai registered company (suitable for the application for 2 working permits), plus the lease is under the company name making the transfer of the business so much easier.
The lease is fully paid to March 2025. So there is no rent to pay. There is an option to extend the lease at an agreed price for another 10 years. This business is established and is highly profitable all year round, even in low season.
All fixtures and fittings are included in the sale including a fully equipped kitchen, top of the range coffee machine, Fridge, Freezers, Kayaks, paddle-boards.
The owners are planning to retire and still be based on Koh Samui so we will be able to assist any new owner in the future.
